Who runs this website

admaps.cloud is operated by the creator of the Animated Dungeon Maps and Fantasy Battle Maps Patreon pages. If you have any questions or requests regarding your personal data, please message me directly on Patreon.

What data is stored and why

When you sign in with Patreon: this website stores your Patreon User ID and display name, your membership status and tier on my Patreon pages, as well as the dates and amounts of your pledges. This information is necessary to determine your download permissions and access to exclusives. I never see your password, email address, or payment details — Patreon handles all of that securely.
When you download files: the website records which release you accessed and the specific parts you selected (e.g., WEBP Images, WEBM Video, 4K PNG Images, 4K MP4 Video), the timestamp, the number of bytes transferred, and the IP address from which the request originated. This data is required to enforce your monthly download quota and rate limits, and to help troubleshoot any failed downloads. Each download record also notes whether lightweight WebM copies were used.
Your preferences: settings you change in your account, such as “Download lightweight WebM files”, are stored with your account so they apply on every device you sign in from.
Cookies: this website uses only strictly necessary cookies: a single session cookie to keep you signed in, and short-lived cookies required during the sign-in handshake. There are no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this website.

Data retention

Download records: retained for 45 days.
Completed download tickets: retained for 90 days (this is the history displayed in your account dashboard).
Membership and pledge history: retained for as long as your account exists on this website. This data is regularly synced and refreshed via Patreon.

Data storage and sharing

This website is hosted on a server located in Finland (via Hetzner, within the EU). Your data is never sold or shared with any third parties. The only external service this website communicates with is the Patreon API, strictly for the purpose of confirming your membership status.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to the personal data collected by this website, or to request its complete deletion at any time. Deletion will remove your account, active sign-in sessions, pledge history, and download records from the database. To exercise these rights, please message me on Patreon, and I will process your request within a few days.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect technical or legal changes. If any updates are made, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
